About the book:
King Bidgood's in the bathtub and He won't get out! That is the main problem for the people in Audrey Wood's story. The Page shares the news with all of the people and each one has a different idea about how to get the King out of the tub. None of the ideas seem to work, though. Instead, the King insists that everything that needs to go on, can just go on in the tub. They can battle in the tub, eat lunch in the tub, go fishing in the tub,  and even host a ball in the tub. There's really no reason why King Bidgood must leave the tub to do his job,  is there? Not until the young Page has an idea to pull the "plug" from the tub. All of the water drains out and the King is finally forced to get out of the tub.
Book Review
For me, the illustrations throughout this book really make the story exceptional. The storyline itself is simple without the illustrations. Overall, it is a humorous read for children and even for adults as well. The ridiculousness of the events is what makes it so great. Although the story is mainly just for fun, it can also encourage children to think outside in order to solve a problem. I give this book a 4 out of 5 owls.
