About the book:

"The Runaway Bunny" is a classic picture book transformed into a board book for young children. The story is about a young bunny who wants to run away from his mother. Every scenario that the bunny provides his mother says that she will follow him. Eventually, the  young bunny realizes that no matter what he does or where he goes his mother will follow him, so he decides not to run away after all.

 Book Review:
I've always loved this book because as a child I remember my mom and dad reading
it to my sisters and I. It's very sentimental and I plan on sharing this book with my future children and students. The story is simple, yet relatable. The scattered, two-page spreads of colorful illustrations mixed throughout is a great way to keep reader's attention. Although it is a children's book, the message is one that definitely relates to adults as well. It shows an example of the depth of a mother's love for her child. The story is heart felt and filled with love.
